How to create your Roblox Open Cloud API key
- Open Roblox Creator Hub → API Keys and sign in.
- Choose Create API Key, enter a name such as PERMA DIW Audio Converter, then set an expiration date if you prefer.
- Under Access Permissions, select Assets. Enable Read and Write for the creator resources you intend to use. Read is used for verification/status; Write is required to upload audio.
- For a group upload, choose the correct group/creator scope if offered and ensure your account has permission to create assets for that group.
- Click Save & Generate key, copy the key immediately, paste it into the API key field below, then click VERIFY API KEY. Never post the key in Discord or share it with other people.
Roblox limits: audio must be MP3, OGG, WAV or FLAC, no more than 20 MB and no longer than 7 minutes. Roblox account verification may affect monthly upload limits. Read Roblox’s official asset-upload guide.
API keys are never saved for Free accounts. Active Premium members can save their key securely to their account and have it automatically restored and re-verified on return.
